Today’s Student Activity Council meeting covered the imminent SAC executive elections and spirit events.

The SAC elections registration package will be available Tuesday both online and as hard copies. The application period will last from 30 April until 8 May, and 10 May will be the after school session in the library for confirmed applicants. The week after will be campaigning and voting will take place 17 May. Notable changes to this years’ process are the revisions of SAC positions, and the granted use of platforms.
The Facebook event for the spirit days is already up, with more than 100 confirmed attendees. There is going to be a carnival this Thursday, with cotton candy, samosas, popcorn, a jousting tournament, a tug-of-war, and a bouncy castle, that will all be free of cost. The next day, 3 May, the long anticipated SAC vs. Reckoner game will happen in the gym.
With the Spring Fling dance happening this Wednesday, and prom tickets still selling, this week is sure to be a busy one. Keep an eye out for these events around the school!
