Even though
Phones are now cordless
Computers are now wireless
Food is now fatless
Earning is now effortless
Chemicals are now harmless
Opportunities now endless
Still
The forests are treeless
People are homeless
Workers are jobless
Youth are faithless
Wars are endless
And yet
Our leaders are shameless
Their greed is bottomless
Their actions so careless
Their treachery so doubtless
But if
You feel worthless
Change seems fruitless
Struggles are useless
Remember
Life is not hopeless
Nothing is meaningless
