My hands define who I am. With my hands, I can express myself through art. With my hands, I can experience the world through touch. With my hands, I can love others through hugs. Without my hands, I am no one.
Upal Rushdee-Haque is a Senior Life Artist at The Reckoner. She’s also a Capricorn, Bengali, and slightly addicted to mangoes. When she’s not doodling in notebooks, Upal can be found hiding in the school library, contemplating the universe, or sleeping. She enjoys discovering new music, watching horror movies, and daydreaming about faraway lands and mythical creatures. Her love of animals inspires her to help save endangered species in the future by spreading awareness through her artwork. In the meantime, Upal continues to wander through life in the hopes of finding some meaning to her own.
This is really lovely in all aspects. :>
