CN Tower Climb

To any student interested in climbing the CN Tower this Saturday morning, there will be a brief but important meeting today at lunch in Portable 1.

SPC Card Sales

The Student Council is selling SPC Cards for $10 in the SAC office at lunch until 24 November. SPC gives you discounts at over 120 brands you love. You will receive coupons from Pizza Pizza and Kernels Popcorn only if you buy so come, buy, and save more when you shop!

Curling Team

Anyone interested in playing on a curling team, please meet Wednesday 1 November in the weight room at lunch. No experience required. Grade 9s attending Take Your Kids to Work Day on Wednesday can meet Ms. Wiltenburg Friday at lunch.

COMC

To all students who registered to write the COMC, the contest will be written this Thursday in the library, Period 2 and 3.

Lunch Time Theatre

Join us in Room 246 for the drama department’s Halloween Scary Lunch Time Theatre this afternoon. We will present a couple of one act plays by the grade 10 theatre performance class.

The Reckoner is the award-winning student newspaper of Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute. During the school year, The Reckoner publishes regularly on its website and produces a monthly printed newspaper which is distributed to the school community. The organization is comprised entirely of dedicated student volunteers: some of the best writers, artists, photographers, designers, and developers of the school. In 2016, the organization was named Ontario’s Best High School Electronic Newspaper and Ontario’s Best High School Volunteer Newspaper by the Toronto Star.
